Founder & Principal AI Solutions Architect at Triuna Labs
Founder of Triuna Labs. Thirty-plus years designing and shipping software across consulting,
enterprise platforms, SaaS, and applied AI. I turn ambiguous workflows into working products,
connect research to operational systems, and make the evidence behind important decisions inspectable.
This page is itself a work sample: a self-contained, dependency-free interactive document. Toggle

An interactive candidate evidence brief that connects experience to a role with inspectable proof and Markdown export.
I built the site and résumé experience around requirement-to-evidence links, a quick view for readers, and deeper detail on demand. The product is in development; the linked résumé and demo are public examples.
A browser-based workspace that turns a Markdown draft into a coordinated LinkedIn article, share post, snippets, images, and PDF carousel.
Fold keeps the publishing assets together while leaving editorial control and the final LinkedIn handoff with the writer. Projects can stay in the browser and be exported.
Turns existing property photos into an explorable tour and branded page, with photo motion, highlights, and selected AI fly-through concepts.
The public pilot shows fictional-property demos and an early-access list. Scene planning and gallery highlights can be explored today; connected generation and exports remain in development.
A browser-based tool that turns an initial request into a portable work contract, using the Living Prompt Contract (LPC) framework.
PromptCharter helps capture accepted requirements, decisions, findings, and corrections so AI-assisted work can continue across sessions. The public prototype runs locally in the browser.
A chessboard-driven music experience where moves and positions shape the instruments, arrangement, and tempo in real time.
Players and listeners can explore orchestral, soundtrack, and techno modes. The board's changing state drives the score, and the interface shows how the game affects the music.
Research on AI infrastructure and project-state prompt caching, with code and data published alongside measured claims.
The public repository includes a laptop-reproducible data-movement benchmark for AI-native storage and a prompt-caching experiment with its sample inputs and measurement tool.
Multitenant case-management platform: a CaseAPI gateway proxies CaseManagement, Configuration,
User, Tenant & FileManagement services across PostgreSQL + SQL Server; event messaging over Kafka
(assetid.tenantid.objecttype.action); Redis schema caching; NIST/HIPAA-aligned throughout.

Document Intelligence & NER — Multi-Engine POC
Thomson Reuters / PonderaResearch POC · NLP
An extensive research/POC that compares 9 engines across 3 tiers — rules, in-browser ML
(Transformers.js), and local backends — for NER, classification, summarization & PII detection on real
government solicitations. A capability spike, not a production system.
Built to explore the trade-offs: the user picks the engine per document — a regex/gazetteer
rules parser and a Presidio-style PII recognizer; in-browser ML via Transformers.js
(BERT-NER, a DistilBART summarizer, and a zero-shot NLI classifier — DeBERTa); and local
backends — IBM Docling (Python) with a server-side Python BERT-NER FastAPI service, LlamaSharp
(.NET LLM), and Ollama / NuExtract for schema-driven structured extraction. Classification method is
decoupled from the engine via a pluggable ML / LLM / rules chooser, with model warm-up, browser cache-status,
and an /api/tags-driven Ollama model selector. Every run emits an OpenTelemetry span tree
(exportable as OTLP/JSON) feeding a model-comparison dashboard — each result honestly labeled real vs
rules-fallback. Prototyped and evaluated on real Oklahoma Health Care Authority Medicaid-eligibility RFIs/RFPs.
Scriban → DOCX document automation deployed to UAT; I prototyped a local LLM (Claude) layer that
generates the templates & parses natural-language intent — a POC designed for later integration.
The deployed path renders data to DOCX in Python (python-docx) via Scriban templates, scoped to
the user's security context. As a proof of concept for later integration, a local LLM (Claude) generates the
Scriban templates themselves and parses natural-language intent into a multi-service data fetch — deterministic
+ conversational generation, with prompt-injection defense and deliberate token-cost control.

Zero-Trust Rendering Sandbox
Thomson Reuters / PonderaDeployed · Security
Isolated "detonation" sandbox — a hardened, stdlib-only Python service wrapping ImageMagick/poppler/LibreOffice; the only component allowed to parse untrusted uploads.
A stdlib-only Python HTTP service (no Flask/FastAPI — deliberate attack-surface minimization) that
shells out to ImageMagick / poppler / headless LibreOffice as the sole parser of untrusted uploads,
rasterizing images/PDF/Office to inert PNGs. Hardened to NIST/HIPAA posture: non-root, read-only FS, all
Linux caps dropped, no network egress, resource/PID caps, no shell. Idempotent, replay-safe Kafka pipeline
with per-tenant Row-Level Security.

SaffronBlazor & RulesEvaluator
Thomson Reuters / PonderaReusable · Libraries
Saffron design system as a Blazor library + a multi-tenant YAML/JSON rules & policy engine (NuGet).
SaffronBlazor.Components — production UI (data tables, steppers, searchable combo-boxes, form
controls, file upload) with a live samples app and tests. Fapg.RulesEvaluator — compiled + cached
JSONPath-style rule evaluation, thread-safe multi-tenant isolation, workflow orchestration for ABAC/policy.
Both published as NuGet for any TR .NET team.
Rewrote the Network Analyzer onto SQL Server Graph (replacing Neo4j), rebuilt search on Solr.NET/Lucene, and designed the IDRA identity-analytics dashboards.
In the FDAAS 4.0 rewrite I replaced Neo4j with SQL Server Graph (SQL Graph) for the Network
Analyzer — markedly more performant and pulling data through stored procedures instead of graph data embedded
in JSON, which sharply reduced PII exposure and compliance risk. I rebuilt search on Solr.NET, fully leveraging
the Lucene query syntax and stack for advanced, relevance-ranked search, and designed the IDRA
identity-analytics dashboards for ID Analytics — plus complex, drill-down UI/UX across multiple program verticals.

SecureGraph — Graph-Viz SDK
Thomson Reuters / PonderaSDK · Visualization
Framework-agnostic TypeScript/PixiJS (WebGL) graph-visualization SDK — an in-house KeyLines
replacement — with React & Blazor reference apps and a sample JWT/RBAC-secured .NET State API.
A framework-agnostic TypeScript/PixiJS WebGL library rendering 10,000+ node network graphs
(organic/radial/hierarchical layouts, PNG/SVG/PDF export, timeline, state serialization), built to replace the
commercial KeyLines library. Shipped with parallel React (Vite) and Blazor/.NET reference integrations so either
stack can consume it, plus a sample ASP.NET Core State API demonstrating JWT auth, role-based access control,
field-level PII encryption, RBAC masking & audit logging — a reusable secure wrapper for any SDK consumer.

Self-service Reporting Engine
Thomson Reuters / PonderaResearch · Reporting
Pluggable, engine-routed analytics with dynamic chart recommendation — benchmarked pg_search (BM25) relevance vs. native Postgres FTS; pgvector deferred as a clean semantic-search seam.
Pluggable, engine-routed analytics adapter that recommends the best-fit visualization for each
view — analyzing every result set's shape and data types to suggest the right chart automatically. Benchmarked
pg_search (ParadeDB/BM25) relevance against native Postgres full-text search and deliberately deferred pgvector
(ANN/embedding similarity) as a clean seam for future semantic search — rather than forcing it onto structured OLAP
aggregation.
Self-driven exploration taken to working artifacts: ClearSign — blockchain + post-quantum-crypto +
Model Context Protocol compliance ledger; an LLM RFP-qualification pipeline (normalizes scopes, live
validation via Playwright, encrypted audit trail); Aegis — an audit-evidence platform.

Bars reflect relative depth, not tenure. My center of gravity is .NET architecture, with strong,
hands-on Python across a BERT-NER service, IBM Docling & Ollama engines, a file-rendering sidecar, python-docx generation, AI/data pipelines and CT 2.0 scripting & validation tooling — a genuine polyglot who thinks in code. How I Approach the Work
→Research that actually ships
I don't stop at a notebook or a demo. FDAAS models and Case Tracker 2.0 are live, multitenant,
compliance-grade systems. That research-to-delivery loop is how I operate.
◎Document intelligence with clear maturity
NER, extraction, classification, summarization, and LLM-driven document generation — explored on real
government data. The page distinguishes research prototypes, UAT work, and production systems.
⚡Prototypes in hours, not sprints
I replace Figma with self-contained working software (this very document, an OTEL explorer, live
topology maps) so teams iterate on something real — and containerize it when a product warrants.
Secure, emerging-tech fluency
Sandboxed containers, NIST/FedRAMP-aligned design, and self-driven exploration of blockchain,
post-quantum crypto, and the Model Context Protocol — adopted quickly and taken to working concepts.
